The OxyGuard PPB Analyzer has some outstanding features. Its greatest advantage is that it is very stable and needs very little maintenance indeed. In fact, it should be left alone unless there are problems! There is nothing in it that wears out during a lifetime of 10-20 years or more. Cleaning and calibration intervals are very long - instruments are often only checked once a year!

This is entirely because of the great stability of the instrument, because calibration of the OxyGuard PPB is very easy. You just put the probe in air and after one minute make the adjustment. Put the probe back in the low oxygen water and after 10 minutes accurate PPB measurements can be made.

Prober renovation (i.e. membrane change) is also easy and can be performed by any technician or similar simply by following the instructions in the manual. Spares are included with the instrument.
