OxyGuard DO Profile Print E-mail

The OxyGuard DO Profile is specially designed to enable dissolved oxygen values in lakes, estuaries and seas to be mapped. The DO profile can be moved through the water whilst measurements are recorded. It can be used at depths up to 150 metres and speeds of over 2 m/s.

The DO Profile, fitted to an exploratory "wing" towed behind a boat at about 7 knots, has been used to map the oxygen content of many of the fjords and waters of Denmark.Click on the link to download the Profile Probe brochure.

The Profile probe can also be fitted to the Model 505 transmitter, which has an output signal of 0-5V. This is intended to be used connected to a data logger and forms a useful device for environmental monitoring. It can be powered by solar panels. Click here to download the brochure for the Model 505
