OxyGuard oxygen probes are characterized by high accuracy and stability, extreme ease of use together with negligible maintenance needs and costs. An OxyGuard probe has an indefinite lifetime - a new anode, membrane and electrolyte once every few years will keep it measuring "forever", and wiping the membrane clean occasionally together with a calibration check now and then will make sure that your measurement stays accurate. Only mechanical damage - or being eaten by a tuna fish - will necessitate its replacement.
Probe renovation intervals of five years have been reported, whilst in air indoors an OxyGuard probe can keep its calibration for at least three years with no attention at all.
